You are never too old to join the circus! Aerial hoop and silks are a fun and creative way to increase strength, flexibility and stamina as you take to the skies and achieve the impossible.
Our classes are designed for people of all abilities who want to challenge themselves in developing a unique skill whilst keeping fit. You do not need to have any aerial or gymnastics experience. The variety of hangs, wraps, twists, mounts and transitions are absolutely endless, and will leave you feeling like you have done a full workout at the gym in a fun way.
Classes are limited to 2 people per aerial silks or aerial hoop for safety and spotting. For all Aerial classes, please wear tight fitting long leggings and a t-shirt that covers your arm pits and waist. We will be working barefooted.
This class introduces you to the basic knots, locks and tricks that will give you an incredible experience to explore your creativity and ability.
Continuing from the intro class we will work from your basic skills to manipulate your body into slightly more advanced poses and wraps. We will be putting together a short sequence with new moves and transitions.
We will start off learning the basic ways to get up and down from the hoop. You will learn basic mounts, tricks and transitions that will give you an incredible experience to explore your creativity and ability. You will have a better understanding of this amazing aerial art form after this class.
Continuing from the intro class we will work from your basic skills to manipulate your body into slightly more advanced poses and twists around the hoop. You will utilize the hoop to develop core strength, flexibility and proper technique for those looking for a fun workout.
